Now a days there are numerous gropus of tourists who enjoy the tradicional beauty of the sun and beaches , exotic places , heavenly sights. However, it is true that the number of tourists who are looking for different experiences is constantly enjoying strong emotions , contact with nature, increasing : challenge activities , contact with archeological zones or areas with great historical value .

Cacomixtle Group is family – run tourism business which was recently established . Our principal iam is the development of nature tourism and ecotourism in Guanajuato state , which involves visiting zones that are relatively little unaltered and unpolluted . Our specific objective is studying , admiring and enjoying the scenic beauty in addition to the flora and fauna . This way the existing cultural aspects ( pas and present  ) are found in these areas .

Therefore this tourism is focused on nature and implies a kind of  responsible tourism which seeks to minimize the environmental and cultural impacts , contributes to the conservation of ecosystems and generates income for the local population .

Cacomixtle Group takes it name from a native mammal of the region , the size of a domestic cat with nocturnal habits .

It`s habitat is the forest of  pine – oak ( among others ) like the sierra de Santa Rosa which we identify with . The scientific name is Bassaricus Astutus . ( Rintèl , Paint – tail , Ring – tailed cat ).
